The IDX-60 is in the 5th, and likely the final, prototype phase. Focus group discussions, test in several offices, and evaluation by several University-based radiologists have further demonstrated that our long-held confidence and conviction was worth the years of development. Interactive Diagnostic Imaging is now actively discussing manufacture and distribution of the IDX-60 to dentists, veterinarians and hospitals.
The IDX-60 has a new interface for programming the exposure factors – BUILT RIGHT INTO THE UNIT! In addition, if a solid-state detector is used with this x-ray unit, the image will appear instantly on the hand-held interface.
For dentists who have not “gone digital” yet, don’t worry, the IDX-60 unit works with conventional x-ray film and phosphor plates as well as solid-state detectors.
Interactive Diagnostic Systems, Inc. is also evaluating a wireless sensor company that has expressed interest in packaging the IDX-60 generator with their sensor and including a proprietary software package to provide a total digital x-ray imaging solution to dentists.
STAY TUNED…and get ready to “Go Digital!”
